Degree Overview

Coursework focuses on leadership, diversity, organizational systems, strategic planning, communication and change management to empower students to effectively lead and facilitate change in a variety of health care and educational settings.

Through the Independent Study in Leadership course, you can pursue a leadership topic or project of your choice under the supervision of a faculty member. The course provides an opportunity to tailor the Post-Graduate Certificate to your individual interests, needs and aspirations, including pursuit of the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Healthcare Education and Leadership degree.

The certificate can be earned as a stand-alone credential, or fifteen (15) credit hours can be applied to the Ed.D. degree upon acceptance into the program.
