Coursework focuses on leadership, diversity, organizational systems, strategic planning, communication and change management to empower students to effectively lead and facilitate change in a variety of health care and educational settings.
Through the Independent Study in Leadership course, you can pursue a leadership topic or project of your choice under the supervision of a faculty member. The course provides an opportunity to tailor the Post-Graduate Certificate to your individual interests, needs and aspirations, including pursuit of the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Healthcare Education and Leadership degree.
The certificate can be earned as a stand-alone credential, or fifteen (15) credit hours can be applied to the Ed.D. degree upon acceptance into the program.
Clarkson College applicants and current students may inquire about the possibility of receiving credit for previous life and/or work experience(s) per Academic Policy AA-47. Please reach out to an academic advisor or your program director if you have questions.
