About Our Construction Projects
Clarkson College is currently undergoing capital improvements including construction. The College campus at the corner of 42nd and Dodge Streets in Omaha will add enhanced learning spaces as well as improve campus wayfinding. The new Welcome Center will move the “front door” of the campus to the south, near the intersection of 42nd and Douglas Streets.

Main Entrance Moves
The main entrance will be moved to the south end of campus. An ornamental arch at the south entrance of the Campus Courtyard will serve as the entry point of an expanded Clarkson Service League Heritage Garden including green space and memorial garden.

South Entrance Lobby
Campus visitors will arrive through a new glass lobby at the south end of the South building.

Enhanced Branding and Visibility
The South building will be adorned with colorful banners, adding distinction along the busy 42nd Street corridor.

Enclosed Spaces
When completed, the glass-walled “Link” will include study space for students as well as gathering areas for special events. The purpose of the Link will to be to allow visitors to travel exclusively indoors when the need arises. The space will also serve to highlight and appreciate contributions from our donors. Pictured is the view of the "Link" from the Courtyard.

Visibility Along Dodge Street
Eastbound traffic on heavily-traveled Dodge Street will be greeted by a five-story tall digital billboard attached to the Main building of Clarkson College.
