Following completion of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Certificate, students will have the didactic preparedness to work or complete an externship in the MRI field. The MRI certificate curriculum prepares students for the clinical component of MRI to fulfill the requirements of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) post-primary certification.

The Cardiac and Vascular Interventional Certificate provides students with the didactic preparedness to work or complete an externship in the vascular or cardiac interventional radiography fields. Students will be equipped for the clinical component of cardiac or vascular interventional radiography needed to fulfill the requirements of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) post-primary certification.

You’ll gain an understanding of the printing process and develop skills to apply the 3D printing process to improving patient care and outcomes.

Clarkson College offers students in the Radiography program the opportunity to enhance their Associate’s degree with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging. Simultaneous study allows students to earn both degrees in as few as three years.

Certificate in Medical Imaging Informatics

The certificate option consists of four online courses that prepare professionals in the radiography field to succeed as Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) specialists. You’ll gain knowledge in a system designed to improve the accuracy and reliability of medical imaging services. Upon completion, you’ll be eligible to sit for the Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) exam.
