Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Beginning in Omaha more than 165 years ago, FNBO has maintained its commitment to helping build strong communities. Clarkson College is proud to offer a scholarship to FNBO employees, spouses and their dependent children seeking a career or advanced education in health care.

Benefits

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) employees, as well as their spouses and dependent children (23 years old or younger) are eligible for a Community Scholarship:
- Bachelor's degree -- Approximately $28,000 over four years
- Associate's degree -- Approximately $14,000 over two years
All applicants who meet admissions qualifications and are seeking enrollment in our online programs will be accepted. Due to space limitations, preference will be given to applicants enrolling in our on-campus programs through additional points on their application.

Scholarships are renewable for up to two years for an associate’s degree and four years for a bachelor’s degree, provided satisfactory academic progress and good standing are maintained, as outlined by Clarkson College policies. Awards are applied to tuition only. All scholarship totals listed are calculated at the maximum lifetime amount of each. This scholarship award is in addition to your financial aid award package. The Clarkson College Commitment to Excellence Scholarship, Founders’ Scholarship, and Community Scholarship may not be used in conjunction.
