Dean's List

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be enrolled in at least nine hours of coursework in the fall and spring semesters and have a Term Grade Point Average (TGPA) of 3.5 or higher. For the summer session, a student must be enrolled in at least six hours of coursework and have a Term Grade Point Average (TGPA) of 3.5 or better. Students receiving an Incomplete (I) grade in a Clarkson College course are not eligible for the Dean’s List in the semester the incomplete is received.

Dean's List recipients receive a letter by mail a few weeks after the end of each semester informing them of their academic honor.

The Dean's List is also posted on the College News website and an email will be sent to the College Community through the office of the President. Students who would like their hometown newspaper to receive a press release about their inclusion can facilitate that process by completing an online media release form. Students who have a Buckley Hold will not be included in publicity releases.

Note: Clarkson College makes every effort to submit news releases regarding the Dean's List recipients to the appropriate media outlets. It is the newspaper's discretion when and if to publish releases. Depending upon how frequently the newspaper prints, it may be several weeks before the information is published.
