Pre-Advising Assessment

Clarkson College is committed to help you succeed in your program of study.

To ensure a successful advisement session and registration of your first classes, new students enrolled in on-campus programs are required to schedule and take the pre-advising assessment. Your Advisor will utilize the assessment data to recommend resources that will facilitate your success.

Taking Your Assessment

The pre-advising assessment will be administered at The Testing Center located in the Lower Level of the College. You must have photo identification to enter the testing center. You will be allotted three (3) hours to complete the exam, yet most students do not need the entire time.

*If you live more than 90 miles from Omaha, special arrangements can be made allowing you to take the assessment on the day you are on campus to register for classes. Please contact your Admissions Counselor and indicate that you would like to combine your Pre-advising Assessment and Advising Appointment on the same day.

Parking

Please use visitor parking on the day of your assessment. Visitor parking stalls are marked in green on the College campus map.
