Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Omicron Epsilon Activities

Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) is the nursing organization that seeks to create a global community of nurses who lead in using scholarship, knowledge, and technology to improve the health of the world's people. It is one of the few nursing organizations that unites and seeks to serve nurses in all realms of practice and education. Omicron Epsilon is the local chapter of STTI for Clarkson College. It offers scholarships for student membership dues, student research, and member professional development. Philanthropic activities include serving meals at the Open Door Mission every month and donating to a family at Christmas. The Chapter's success has been recognized with ten Chapter Key Awards.
