Apply for Graduate Admission

As a first-year student, you may complete either the Online Application or Paper Application. If you are an International Student, please complete a Paper Application.

Online Applicaton

Step 1: Complete the Online Graduate Application.

Step 2: Submit your $35 application fee. You may make a secure payment online or call in a credit or debit card payment to 402.552.3100 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CST Monday – Friday. If paying by check or money order, mail your payment to the Clarkson College Admissions office located at 101 S. 42 Street, Omaha, NE 68131.

Step 3: Submit the additional Required Admissions Materials by mail, e-mail or fax. When appropriate, your essay and resume may be e-mailed to admiss@clarksoncollege.edu. Please make sure that your name is clearly visible on all documents.


Required Graduate Admissions Materials

Request official academic transcripts from each institution previously attended. Transcripts must be sent directly from each institution to Clarkson College.

Submit a scholarly essay summarizing your motivation for entering our Master's program. Your essay must be typed and limited to three pages. Please address the following:

  • Statement of your personal and professional goals after graduation.
  • Role of graduate education in achieving your goals.
  • Personal and professional strengths.
  • Professional areas identified as needing development.
  • Personal perceptions of graduate education.

Submit your resume.

Additional application materials are required for the following applicants:

Official High School Transcript or General Education Diploma

Official transcripts are sent directly from your high school to Clarkson College and must show at least three years of grades. Any college coursework you have completed should be included on your transcript.

Technical Standard Requirements Form

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a professional institution accredited by NLNAC or CCNE.
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Valid state unencumbered RN license effective in the state of practice or where clinical experience will occur.
  • Two years of professional RN work experience.
  • Technical Standard Requirements Form
  • Master's degree in Nursing from a professional institution accredited by NLNAC or CCNE.
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Valid state unencumbered RN license effective in the state of practice or where clinical experience will occur.

  • Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Paper Application

Step 1: Download & complete the Graduate Application. Applicants of the RN-MSN program complete the RN-MSN Application.

Step 2: Submit your $35 application fee. Please send your completed application and a check or money order to the Admissions office contact information listed below.
