Apply for Doctoral Admission

As a first-year student, you may complete either the Online Application or Paper Application. If you are an International Student, please complete a Paper Application.

Online Applicaton

Step 1: Complete the Online Graduate Application.

Step 2: Submit your $35 application fee. You may make a secure payment online or call in a credit or debit card payment to 402.552.3100 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CST Monday – Friday. If paying by check or money order, mail your payment to the Clarkson College Admissions office located at 101 S. 42 Street, Omaha, NE 68131.

Step 3: Submit the additional Required Admissions Materials by mail, e-mail or fax. When appropriate, your essay and resume may be e-mailed to admiss@clarksoncollege.edu. Please make sure that your name is clearly visible on all documents.


Required Doctoral Admissions Materials

Request official graduate level academic transcripts from each institution where courses were taken. Transcripts must be sent directly from each institution to Clarkson College.

Submit a scholarly essay summarizing your motivation for entering our Master's program. Your essay must be typed and limited to three pages. Please address the following:

  • Statement of your personal and professional goals after graduation.
  • Role of graduate education in achieving your goals.
  • Personal and professional strengths.
  • Professional areas identified as needing development.
  • Personal perceptions of graduate education.

Request three professional or faculty recommendations using the Graduate Professional Reference forms.

Submit your resume or curriculum vita.

Submit a sample of a Master's degree level scholarly paper (thesis, project or paper).
